Put sunscreen in the cart first
A sun-care budget should pay for a suitable sunscreen before optional masks, eye patches or promotional gifts. Spending less than a threshold is not useful if the basket does not contain the product you set out to buy.

One stick is the smaller initial commitment if you do not yet know whether you enjoy the format. Buying both is not necessary for protection. The two-stick calculation is included for someone who already has a reason to want both, not as an instruction to spend the full budget.
Confirm the final price, stock, taxes and shipping before paying. Do not add unrelated skincare merely to pursue a gift or presumed shipping threshold. A $63 basket is over a $60 budget even when it qualifies for a promotion.
Value depends on actual use
A low price per gram does not establish how many properly applied days a stick will provide. Pressure, application area and repeated use vary. Avoid comparing grams with milliliters as though every sunscreen has the same density or transferring lotion-volume arithmetic to a solid bar.
Start with the product you can apply comfortably and consistently. If you already own a sunscreen that suits you, consider whether a new stick solves a real carrying or application problem before purchasing a second format.
Budget for proper application, not tiny swipes
A stick is convenient to carry, but a quick decorative line is not full coverage. AAD's stick instructions include repeated passes and rubbing in. If you cannot use the stick thoroughly in the situations you planned, a familiar lotion may be the better purchase.
